Exclamation Robot communicating, but not functioning?

Our robot is about done. however, we ran into a problem. all of the wiring on our robot is corrrect, (we've checked over 5 times) our programming is all correct, ( we've also checked plenty of times) and the crio is reading our code and is recieving signal (we did several ping tests on the command prompt) our robot its self however, is not moving when we move the joysticks.

we dont know what else to do, so we hope that someone can help us out with any suggestions. thanks!

Re: Robot communicating, but not functioning?

Are you running the driver station, is the robot in teleop, and is it enabled? Does it show code running, an LED to the left on the driver station?

Re: Robot communicating, but not functioning?

yeah, im running the driver station. yes, its in teleop. and it is enabled.
all then lights except robot code is on. i try to load the code, but it says the Crio is not responding

i just loaded the code. but its still the same problem. all the LED's are on. and the Solenoids on our robot are responding. nothing is preforming its intended action.

Re: Robot communicating, but not functioning?

There are three power indicator LEDs on the Digital Sidecar. Which ones are lit, and how brightly?

What pattern does the Robot Signal Light flash when you are trying to run the robot drive motors?

If all three lights on the sidecar aren't lit, you should double check that the sidecar's power is wired according to this diagram. The power should come from the a terminal on the PDB that's protected by a 20 amp breaker

Re: Robot communicating, but not functioning?

Are you deploying code with the driver station open? Have you updated your cRIO firmware to the latest version? Is your network configured correctly? Are your joysticks set up and working? Did you do a hard reset after uploading code?

Re: Robot communicating, but not functioning?

yes i am deploying with driver station open, yes everything is updated including the driver station, our network is working correctly, our problem began yesterday on saturday we deployed and everything worked, and no there wasnt a hard reset.

inclusively i made a new project the problem with the real time target disappeared but when i clicked on enable nothing worked, the jaguars didnt turn green when i moved the joysticks on the x axis
