Bumper clarification
We got the new bumper hardware from AndyMark that clips over the C-channel and we were wondering if anyone on here knows whether or not "supported" in the game manual means attached to the frame by a bolt or fastener, or just supported by the C-channel? any help would be greatly appreciated

Re: Bumper clarification
It has to be secured to the frame in such a way that it can't come off during the expected rigors of FRC gameplay.

Re: Bumper clarification
If you're referring to the 8" rule, no, it doesn't need fasteners every 8 inches. It only needs to be secure enough to not fall off.

Re: Bumper clarification
Gravity is not enough, you must use some fasteners.

Re: Bumper clarification
Hi Don, Mentor Mac here. Team 686. Call me back real soon if you can. It's Monday one day to go. I'm down here at N W high school in Germantown. They have a footpad raise them off the floor to the first bar. Is this Ok. Do they break any bumper rules like bumper zone 2 to 10. My cell phone 240-405-9213
God Bless |
