Re: High Score

I haven't seen this posted anywhere else, but does anyone have data on the highest losing score?

Crossroads was a shootout. Qualification match 45 had Red losing with a score of 133, and SF 1.1 has Blue losing with a score of 160.

I credit team 610 with a truly fine robot. It is going to influence our thinking for years to come! Good job guys. It was a pleasure.

Yes, our losing alliance did have a full court shooter that made shot after shot when it was properly tuned - team 1519. They accounted for lots of those 123 points.

Interestingly, the winning alliance at GSR did not have a 30 point hang.

We just competed at Pine Tree Regional, where, just like at GSR, we lost to the number one seeded team in the semi-finals.

The first match (Semi 1-1) had the highest score of the whole event and the highest combined score at the whole event, I don't believe there were any penalties.
Red: 2386, 3467, 2648 = 179

Blue: 4564, 133, 69 = 139

Red alliance actually got 3 foul points. But 204 in disc score and a 40 hang points? The only place to top that is at St. Louis and IRI.

It is too bad that 1918 fell, if they hung on that's 267 points, and if they kept climbing and dump, that will be 292 points.

I imagine whoever sat on the other side of the match sorting system and saw these three teams together got a good chuckle. Or they were terrified.

Re: High Score

193-192 in QF 2-1 at MSC.

Red alliance pulls out a 1 point lead. Blue alliance had 3 foul points.

Red alliance had 70 climb points and 6 red disks in the pyramid goal.

Probably the highest combined score and the highest loosing score.

Agreed, best match I've seen this year (and I've been to every one of 1114's and 2056's regionals).

The webcast that is being shown on Detroit TV is fantastic.

Amazing match! Probably the best of the year so far, but Waterloo Finals 2 still beats it with a combined score of 407: http://www.thebluealliance.com/match/2013onwa_f1m2

I think MSC is going to beat that today...
