If you are attending the Chief Delphi Invitational you will want to consider attending one of the workshops listed below. This will be during the lunch break and will not affect the competition.

Each team may send 1 person to each workshop.
To attend you will need to fill out and fax in a registration form. The form will be posted soon on the Chief Delphi Invitational section of this web site.

Space is limited.

NOTE: These workshops are open to ALL FIRST teams. You do not have to be a competitor in this competition to attend.

First Annual Chief/Delphi Institute
for
Better High School Robotics


The Central/Delphi FIRST Team #47 is sponsoring a special institute for high school FIRST teams to obtain valuable information on the formation, development, and maintenance of a world-class FIRST team.

Professionals from various disciplines will be on-hand to share and instruct on November 18, 2000, from 11:45 A.M. until 12:45 P.M. at Pontiac Central High School, 300 West Huron Street, Pontiac, Michigan (248) 451-7159.

Students
Parents
Anyone seeking to hone valuable skills to improve a current or future FIRST team

Topics in these interactive large and small group sessions will include:
Ø Animation Tips
Ø Chairman’s Award Preparation

Ø GMCIA Competitive Assessment Network
Ø Motors
Ø Parent Forum
Ø Student Forum
Ø Team Building
Ø Travel/Business Management


Registration is free to all registered persons. Because of space limitations, each team may enroll only one person per workshop.
