talon rapidly flashing yellow

we recently finished hooking up the electronics on our practice robot and when we turn it on one talon flashes yellow very quickly. it is not connected to a pwm. using a multimeter the power flow appears to be stable but it may not be updating fast enough. does anyone have any idea whats going on?

The LED will blink orange any time the Talon is in the disabled state. This will happen if the PWM input signal is lost, or in FRC, when the robot is disabled.

Can you elaborate on what troubleshooting you've done?

weve tried with and without pwm connection, multiple different fuses and pd ports, different batteries, different power wires, and continuity tested the power wires. weve come to the conclusion that the talon must be broken.

Re: talon rapidly flashing yellow

Hey this is sorta a thread revival, but we have a talon that, when enabled, has a red blink to it. It's the same blink to it that you would get if you're running the talon slow reverse. However, when we move the PWM to another talon, it goes solid yellow, as it should. Any answers?

Re: talon rapidly flashing yellow

If a speed controller doesn't output "neutral" when it's told to, the first thing to do is to calibrate it.
