"The Hit" 2013 Archimedes - CRUSH 1011

As many of you know, team 1011 was involved in a collision with team 987 during qualification match 2. Numerous videos of the collision have since been posted in a few different threads. We just wanted to give our account of what we have deemed "The Hit".

In regards to our robot, the crash snapped some of our shooter plastic which we were able to glue back together before our next match! I would like to assure everyone that CRUSH has neither ill feelings about the matter nor our friends/pit mates 987. The hit was completely accidental. When the hit originally occurred, the team was definitely worried about the well being of our bot (we fell of the bridge last year and we were never able to fix everything), but after analyzing the repair process everyone perked right up and we couldn't wait for our next match!

We would like to sincerely thank and applaud team 987 The High Rollers as well as team 2486 The Coconuts for coming to check up on us and offer their help immediately after the match. They were extremely kind and their gracious professionalism is something that should be praised.

Our team is super pumped about how much the highlights of the hit has been spread around. At competition, people were approaching our pit asking us if we were the robot from the internet! Any publicity is good publicity right? And everyday as more and more videos come out, the team gets more and more excited! So in case you missed some videos, I've compiled all that I know of!
