**FIRST EMAIL**/TIMS now open for 2014 Season Pre-Registration/STIMS now open for 2014 Season/2013 Post Season Awards Order Form

Greetings Teams:

TIMS now open for 2014 Season Pre-Registration: Teams are now able to login and update their team profiles for the 2014 season in TIMS: https://my.usfirst.org/frc/tims/site.lasso. New rookie teams can also pre-register at this time. Completing the pre-registration process now will allow you to register for events quickly when event registration opens this fall!

**Initial event registration opens September 26, 2013!**

STIMS now open for 2014 Season: The Student Team Information Member System (STIMS) is now open: https://my.usfirst.org/stims/site.lasso. Returning students can use their login information from last season; new students may register by clicking on the “New Student User” button.

STIMS is where students apply to join their FRC team (students must re-apply each year), complete the 2014 electronic FIRST Consent and Release Form, and submit for specific FRC awards.

2013 Post Season Awards Order Form: The 2013 Post Season Awards Order Form is available here: http://www.usfirst.org/roboticsprogr...son-order-form. Teams may use this form to order additional trophies, medallions and pins.

Wow! FIRST Finally realized that late fall is too late to start team registrations. Now I can actually require STIMS registration before we begin team meetings in the fall.

I was gonna register for STIMS...but then I realized...I'm no longer a student!

Initial event registration in September - sounds pretty good to me. Knowing the competition dates earlier in the year is helpful. Opening STIMS early is nice - perhaps it will help me achieve my dream of having all of my students' consent forms completed weeks before a competition so I can just print the team roster and forget about it.

I did the same thing. I was like awesome let me get a jump start on things, and then I realized, oh wait I have to register in that "other system" now.

Still I must give props to HQ on this. I think teams will make great use of having TIMS, STIMS, and Registration up as early as it is. I hope they continue this in future years!
