What I have learned from my years in FRC:
You can make money on anything
SELL IT SELL IT
Unless you have a use for it or it is used in a future game.
Don't be so quick to get rid of the materials, you might find them useful!

Cut it at the corners and then offset it from the wall using wooden spacers.
