Liberty Science Center-MAR

To All Mid-Atlantic Robotics Teams:

This summer, Team 75 will be hosting an FRC Exhibit at the Liberty Science Center every weekend in July. During these weekends, robots from the 2012 game “Rebound Rumble” will play on a full field and the public will be able to drive the robots.

To participate, your team will need a 2012 robot, a max of five students (including two robot drivers) and an adult to accompany you.

At the museum, our team will set up a pit area and provide any tools, materials, and work space you may need in the event of a robot malfunction.

If your team is interested in participating, or if you have any additional questions or concerns, feel free to contact us at lsc@roboraiders.com. Please RSVP ASAP to allow us to hold your spot.

WHEN: Every weekend in July; 8 AM - 5 PM
WHERE: Liberty Science Center, Liberty Park, Jersey City, New Jersey

THANKS!!! Hope to hear from you soon!

Re: Liberty Science Center-MAR

Casey,

There has been some talk of this on our team, but with us losing both of our build rooms for the summer, and our involvement in IRI and also building a robot for WVU, we are currently unsure of whether or not we'll be able to help out. I'll be sure to get back to you when we make a decision.

- Ryan Hall, FRC Team 1676 C.E.O. Emeritus

Re: Liberty Science Center-MAR

Unfortunately, 1370's 2012 robot is non-functional and beyond reassembly. Current casualty count is 2 CIMs, 100% of the electronics, all 4 mecanum wheels and drivetrains, and some miscellaneous pneumatics.

Do you guys do a retro-year game each year at Liberty Science Center? (ie - would next summer's game be Ultimate Ascent?)

I'll answer for them since I had this exact same question-no. LSC specifically requested that they do last year's game due to the inherent danger of frisbees this year.

And disappointingly our robot is completely dismantled as well...
