Newton Division Match #07:
GaryHedge: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z81n51iG9Ms
Orrfan444: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QrPjLy94lME
Description: Score: Red 56 points; Blue 54 points. RED Teams (drivers on left) frc team 4519, 503, 4476 vs. BLUE Teams (on right) frc team, 3476, 3280, 217. Team 4476, W.A.F.F.L.E.S., ended up ranked #17 out of the 100 Newton teams which was the highest ranked Rookie team, but they were not picked. Team 217, Thunder Chickens, was the #16 pick by Alliance Captain #1, Team 1538, Holy Cows and Newton Division Finalist. The OPR comparison predicted an easy win for Blue, but during autonomous, 3476 picked up discs from the floor and one disc flipped upside-down in their hopper. That prevented them from shooting discs during the match. Like-wise, 217 had problems. Then at the end, mechanical problems prevented both 3476 and 217 from doing a 10 point climb. (So much for predictions.)This was the lowest scoring match, for or against, for both 3476 and 217. Right after this match, team 3476 altered the hopper opening to prevent discs from flipping upside-down and went on the practice field to test the fix.

Newton Division Match #32:

INXTGeek: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hSI1MtA_iX0
Orrfan444: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gxw9pDKWNOM
Description: Score: Red 103 points; Blue 75 points. RED Teams (drivers on left) frc team 3476, 2283, 4586 vs. BLUE Teams (on right) frc team, 131, 2783, 4629. On the way to this match, 2283, Panteras, from Mexico, had their robot connected to a laptop trying to download a new program. Unfortunately, they were not successful, so it was a tough 2-against-3 match with Blue already predicted to win. A rookie team from Israel, 4586, PRIMO, was thrilled that their defensive play and 10 point climb was enough to pull off a victory with team 3476. Team 4586 took home the Newton Rookie Inspiration Award.

Newton Division Match #50:

INXTGeek: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dyJVRH1lQsI
Orrfan444: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MRStEoFHG_c
Description: Score: Red 163 points; Blue 107 points. RED Teams (drivers on left) frc team 3476, 4666, 1569 vs. BLUE Teams (on right) frc team, 3339, 1741, 2612.
Team 1569, Haywire Robotics, became the #8 Alliance Captain on the Newton field. Team 1741, Red Alert, became the #13 pick on Newton joining Alliance #4 which beat Alliance #5 to be a Semi-Finalist. The Israeli team 3339, BumbleB, did a marvelous 30 point climb. Team 3476 was shooting so many discs, that they ran out of compressed air at the end and could not lift for the 10 point climb.

Newton Division Match #67:

After finding the correct “why”, team 3476, Code Orange, added compressed air tanks prior to this match and lifted for the 10-point climb. Team 2826, Wave Robotics, became the #12 pick on Newton joining Alliance #5 to be a Quarter-Finalist. Team 2655, Flying Platypi, did a 20 point climb.

Team 2789 had a malfunction that prevented them from driving so this was virtually a 3-on-2 match. Team 68, Truck Town Thunder, was # 5 pick by team 341 later in Newton to be a Quarter-Finalist. Team #1718, The Fighting Pi, was # 6 pick by team 2252 later in Newton to be a Quarter-Finalist. Team 225, Tech Fire, was #10 pick by team 2052 later in Newton to be a Quarter-Finalist.

This was the highest scoring (280 combined) match with the smallest winning margin (6) so far on Newton. Team 829 remained undefeated at 6-0-0 after this match. Team 829, Digital Goats, was Ranked #6 and was the #4 pick on Newton later by Alliance Captain #4 team 3997, Screaming Chickens, which ended up as Semi-Finalists.

Description: Score: Red 196 points; Blue 77 points. RED Teams (drivers on left) frc team 3476, 1515, 1640 vs. BLUE Teams (on right) frc team, 1311, 303, 93. The TEST Team, 303, was undefeated until this match and became the #3 Alliance Captain. Team 303, TEST team, selected Team 3476 as the #3 pick and Team 1640, Sab-BOT-age, as the #14 pick (2 of the winners of this match) to become the Newton Champions. Code Orange, some of whose members know members of 1515, MorTorq, from the Los Angeles area, got together to make an orange Full Court Shooter blocker for 1515 to “wear” and they effectively blocked 303. Team 1640 did a 30 point climb and 1311, Kell Robotics, did a 20 point climb.

Newton Division CMP Elimination Tournament at the 2013 Championship

FIRST 2013 CMP Championship Newton Division Quarterfinal 4-1:
GaryHedge: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T4sX-Tuk_fI
iNXTGeek: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jTRpwdK92ok
Orrfan444: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tYkcuT4KgGc
Score: Red 188 points; Blue 178 points. Alliance #3 RED Teams (drivers on left) frc team 303, 3476, 1640 vs. Alliance #6 BLUE Teams (on right) frc team, 2252, 1718, 141.
Team 141 was “wearing” a blocker and was successful in deflecting the discs from 303’s full court shots. 1718 played some defense in between shooting, trying to disrupt 3476 at the feeding station, but 3476 was so fast it was not effective. 1640 got the 20-point climb, and that was enough to win a close match. Blue’s 178 points includes 20 foul points.

FIRST 2013 CMP Championship Newton Division Quarterfinal 4-2:
GaryHedge: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dxNosoKmfms
iNXTGeek: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zlGM6MjtkqI

Score: Red 183 points; Blue 170 points. Alliance #3 RED Teams (drivers on left) frc team 303, 3476, 1640 vs. Alliance #6 BLUE Teams (on right) frc team, 2252, 1718, 141.
Blue turned up the defense hitting 3476 hard at the unprotected feeder and pushing them around to slow down their shooting when not blocking in front of 303’s full court shooter. Red includes 3 foul points. Really close match.

FIRST 2013 CMP Championship Newton Division Semifinal 2-1:
GaryHedge: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OYiD1rgmlDI
OrrFan444: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ELVh2kOzz0Y
Score: Red 171 points; Blue 180 points. Alliance #2 RED Teams (drivers on left) frc team 128, 195, 1676 vs. Alliance #3 BLUE Teams (on right) frc team 303, 3476, 1640.
3476 did the 7 disc autonomous for 42 points again. 128 starts the defense early for Red trying to push 3476 around allowing 303 to get to the feeder and start shooting. Near the end, both team 1676 and 128, Blue, robots were dancing with 3476. 195 stopped its full court shooting to try to block 303.

128 continued to push both 3476 and 1640 around and only getting one 3-point foul. The air was full of discs as 195 and 303 both full court shot. Although it looks like 1640 gets the 30-point climb it is only a 20-point climb. Both 303 and 3476 get off the floor making 40 climbing points total.

FIRST 2013 CMP Championship Newton Division Final -1:

iNXTGeek: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zMA60uxgCqM
Orrfan444: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WIWBatsVSpg
Score: Red 193 points; Blue 247 points. Alliance #1 RED Teams (drivers on left) frc team 1538, 1986, 217 vs. Alliance #3 BLUE Teams (on right) frc team 303, 3476, 1640.
With virtually no defense being played, Shooting and scoring was amazing.
The Holy Cows had posted several highest scores in the Qualifying Matches. Their Alliance had the highest score Newton in their QF1-1 Match with 238. This match had the highest combined scores with Alliance #3 posting the highest Newton score with 247, a sum not even seen on the Einstein field later. 1640 did the 30-point climb, with 303 & 3476 adding 10-point climbs each. Unfortunately, 1986 was unable to get its climbing arms to extend, so had to settle for 10 points, the only climbing points for Red.
Teams: Holy Cows, Team Titanium, Thunder Chickens, TEST Team, Code Orange, Sab-BOT-age.

FIRST 2013 CMP Championship Newton Division Final -2:
GaryHedge: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7bVFF0fCplM

Score: Red 140 points; Blue 184 points. Alliance #1 RED Teams (drivers on left) frc team 1538, 1986, 217 vs. Alliance #3 BLUE Teams (on right) frc team, 303, 3476, 1640.
Alliance #1, in Red, changes to play some defense, reducing both alliances’ points. Holy Cows lifted their pickup mechanism to block 303’s full court shots. 1640 did the 30-point climb again, with 303 & 3476 adding 10-point climbs each. In a rush, the Holy Cows missed their last set of shots. The Thunder Chickens started to climb the corner at the end, but fell back down. Unfortunately, 1986 was again unable to get its climbing arms to extend, so had to settle for 10 climbing points added to 10 points from 1538 for Red. The tough defense play resulted in 20 foul points for Blue. The #3 Alliance was predicted to lose in both the Semi-Finals and Finals, but overcame problems and kept working to take the Championship. There were no tie-breakers (3rd match) on Newton.

The Champions of each of the 4 Divisions play each other on the Einstein Field for the World Championship.

FIRST 2013 CMP Championship Einstein Semifinal 2-1:

FIRST Robotics 2013 Ultimate Ascent CMP Einstein Field Championship Tournament Match 2.To make Einstein special, FIRST provided brand new sets of discs which were clean and smooth. This made them different than what was being used on the other fields. The robots had to adjust to get the angles and speeds correct so the discs would go into the goals. At the beginning of the match there was a big collision and a Red and a Blue robot were piled up and not moving. Red got loose but Blue never moved again. Teams: TEST Team, Code Orange, Sab-BOT-age, Coyotes, Theory6, Texas Torque

FIRST 2013 CMP Championship Einstein Semifinal 2-2:

iNXTGeek: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MCIV454n0KA

Score: Red 200 points; Blue 225 points. Newton Alliance RED Teams (drivers on left) frc team 303, 3476, 1640 vs. Galileo Alliance BLUE Teams (on right) frc team 1241, 610, 1477. FIRST Robotics 2013 Ultimate Ascent CMP Einstein Field Championship Tournament Match 4.
Initially, the score was displayed showing that Red had won with 254 points. But that was too unbelievable since 303 had been inactive since the beginning of the match when a battery wire came loose. A query was filed by Blue and a manual addition error was discovered when the scoring discs were re-counted on a video re-play. That caused a tie-breaker match to be played after Red was already scouting, planning and setting up for the Einstein Finals matches. Teams: TEST Team, Code Orange, Sab-BOT-age, Coyotes, Theory6, Texas Torque

FIRST 2013 CMP Championship Einstein Semifinal 2-3:

FIRST Robotics 2013 Ultimate Ascent CMP Einstein Field Championship Tournament Match 6. All 6 robots worked for the entire match and Galileo won fair and square. Even if 1640 had gotten the 30-point climb it would have not been enough. All Einstein matches went to a 3rd match tie-breaker. Teams: TEST Team, Code Orange, Sab-BOT-age, Coyotes, Theory6, Texas Torque

Not our best match, but one of the few there is video of.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PWwpA...ature=youtu.be

Also: I have scoured the internet looking for decent video of 447 and 461 but still can't find anything. Can someone help?

Re: IRI Teams - Video Links

Also, I am guessing this means that other teams will probably be interested in my IRI scouting spreadsheet. Has a large amount of pre-event scouting data and a complete list of pre-event team statistics. Also has match prediction system/team search system to make life easier.
OPRs are taken from my team's data from championships or from the Simbotics post-champs spreadsheet.

IRI scouting spreadsheetCD.xlsx

edit: go over to the IRI schedule thread. I have posted updates to this spreadsheet there
