LabVIEW Off-Season Activation Issues
In preparation for the off-season matches in the bayou area (and also because our programmer graduated in May), I downloaded our LabVIEW that we got this season onto my computer. (For clarification, this is that same LabVIEW that we used for the Ultimate Ascent game)
When I went to activate it, it said that my serial number did not match the product (which it clearly did...). I checked everything...and I mean everything...the CD was right, the serial number was right, and my computer wasn't blocking it either.
The next day, I called NI and they were very befuddled by my problem. Like I said, it was the LabVIEW from the most recent season and serial number WAS right...
They took my question all the way up to their FRC software engineers and they said that LabVIEW for FRC has an expiration date and that might be my problem.
But surely I should still be able to activate a LabVIEW program in the off-season right? I mean..with all of the off-season activities going on, SOMEBODY must have had to download LabVIEW onto a new co mputer and activate in in the off-season.
If you have and advice or could help me in any way that would be much appreciated!
