Go to Post Maybe next season I want to develop and test a new metric for FRC scouting: Bumper Quality Rating (BQR). BQR-5: The platonic ideal of FRC bumpers. ... BQR-0: Moderate to heavy use of duct tape. I believe BQR would outperform OPR as a predictor of on-field robot performance. - Nate Laverdure [more]

Engineer on team #190, Gompeii, from Mass Academy and WPI.

Hey Matt....

Just wondering if RIT is fully involved with FIRST this year? I was at RIT last year as a freshman, and a few people tried hard to get the funding to have the team resurected, but with renovations to Engineering house, there wasn't funds available. I transferred to WPI for a few reasons, and FIRST was a big reason. Let me know whats going on in Rochester

Well, actually, yes, we have a team and for some reason I've ended up in charge. We're working with Edison Tech (same school from '96-'98) and our sponsor is Alstom Signaling but RIT has kicked in no money so far. So, in essense, yep, we have a team.
