The reason I post this on top instead of responding is because I feel this is really important for everyone to look at this. Anyways, here is my respond to Jessica's post:

I agree totally with Jessica here... these days, I look at the forum, there are so many new posts everyday that I am having a hard time keep track of posts. It is nice to have off topic discussion, but sometimes too many of them kind of defeat the purpose of this forum. I am saying “kind of” because I don't think OT should be completely off this place. This is a place for team bonding, and OT is a good way to show your personality and other interesting things about teams. We see lots of that after the 6-weeks period.

But right now, we all should try to keep our discussion more about information related to the competition. A lots of useful info are exchanged through this place, like rules, tips of the robot, technical info... etc. There is a reason why this site receive so many hits/day, and that's because it is extremely helpful to rookie teams as well as returning teams. And these kind of discussion are not boring, but sometimes really important to teams who are asking the same question out there trying to figure something out while some great tips are already here. Sometimes it is even critical make sure teams got to look at the discussion happening here because it might be a major topic that will have a huge impact in the competition.

In order for this forum to be helpful, we should keep this place efficient, that means having clear, right to the point discussion about different aspect of the competition. If you notice recent posting, lots of them are asking about discussion from a while ago. This is happening because there are so many new posts that this page is forced to store old post into archive, instead of presenting the valuable discussion between other people. I am sure couples of people are already tired to repeat posting the same topic a few time a week. And this is not right to drain their energy because those people are volunteering their time and effort to help other people out. Let's make their life a little easier... and not take advantage of them.

All I am asking is for people organize what they want to post in this forum, have a clear title so people can understand what they are going to read, and make sure you post in the right section. Sometimes it is intimidating just looking at a discussion where a person posts a question, and there are 10 responds after the question is posted 1 hour later. And all those responds have the same title: Re:*****, and then there will be more responds treads after that with title: re:*****. It makes me really tired of even trying to figure what’s going on while never have the time to read everything, and I am reluctant to post because I don’t want to post anything people already said.

Please seriously consider what I am saying. I did not post to be mean or to hurt anyone, much less trying to yell at people or intimidating them with my loud opinion. There is a reason why I said all these, and I am just trying get the people thinking...
