New York City Hotels

Other on team #639, Red B^2, from Ithaca High School and Cornell University.
Is there any teams out there going to New York City regional? If so, are you staying at a FIRST-recommended hotel or another one? Our team found a closer hotel to the event that is much cheaper (I think $49 for a double per night), but there are shared bathrooms. It's recommended by Columbia though. Anyone else doing something similar?
