Scoring process question

Do all points (including base points such as truss and catch) score immediately or are they scored on the condition of ending the cycle by scoring in the low or high goal? For example, if a ball is legally thrown over the truss, but the cycle hasn't been completed, is the team awarded the 10 points

I think what he's referring to is if the cycle is not completed by the end of the match, are points from that cycle gained?
I personally have no idea; obviously assist points aren't counted if a goal isn't gained but I don't know about truss and catch points.

Re: Scoring process question

3.1.4 Scoring:
Quote:
Points are awarded once per CYCLE for BALLS SCORED by ROBOTS in the GOALS, BALLS SCORED by ROBOTS over the TRUSS, and for each ROBOT CATCH. Additional points are credited to an ALLIANCE upon each GOAL based on the number of ASSISTS earned by the ALLIANCE for that CYCLE.
(emphasis mine)

That seems to imply that catch and truss points are right away, while assist are upon going into a goal. (Although all are only available once per cycle, so you can't get multiple truss scores for the same cycle)

I see what you mean.
All points are scored the moment of, except for assist points, which are scored "upon each GOAL based on the number of ASSISTS earned by the ALLIANCE."
