I am confused as to whether or not you can extend 20 inches beyond you frame perimeter in multiple directions? I do not see anywhere that is says you can only have an extension in only a single direction, but if you have two single extentions of 20 inches going out in separate directions, technically, that would make 40" of extensions beyond your frame perimeter.

It is 20" from each side, leading to an effective 40" of extra space in each horizontal dimension. There is no limit this year on how many extensions you may have.
