Would it be legal to use a Frisbee?
Looking at this thread, I witnessed an interesting design using multiple pneumatic cylinders to punch a ball. At the end of the cylinders, the team attached a disk shaped piece. This makes me wonder, would it be legal to use a similar design with a disk from last years game?

Re: Would it be legal to use a Frisbee?
If you can't use last year's game piece, a simple workaround would to just go to the dollar store and pick up a different one. No rules against that!

Yes. That status of a COTS item as last year's game piece is irrelevant to its legality. In fact, the Q&A traditionally rules that being this year's game piece is irrelevant as well, as long as refs won't confuse it with those in use.
