3CIM4U Issues

Hello, we recently bought the 3CIM4U and we've found a few issues which we'd like to share in case anyone else has problems.

What we've found is that the spacers between the gearbox plates have been manufactured too short and thus the holes don't line up. You can see the issue in more detail in the attached photos.

We've also found that the bearing bores don't match the AM14U chassis. AndyMark has recommended filing the chassis to fit the gearboxes. We've done this and it seems to be a decent solution.

I hope this helps teams who are wondering why their gearboxes don't fit the chassis. The team at AndyMark is currently investigating the problem and will hopefully release a revision of the gearbox.
