Diameter of Air Cylinder for VexPro 3 stage Ball Shifter Winch ???

Anyone know for certain what diameter air cylinder is used to reliably and consistently release a 3 stage ball shifter winch under heavy load ?

If its more than the stock one, how did you mount it ? A pic would be great.

Also, might as well as what travel required ? I am guessing 1/2" (We are new to this product).

According to Paul Copioli the regular 3/4 inch bore and 1/2 stroke pancake cylinder can shift up to 400 lbs of pressure before something larger is needed. Here is the quote:

We are testing this now to see the max loading the ball shifter can still shift into neutral. My theoretical calculation indicates in excess of 400 lbs in a 2" diameter winch.

Thanks. I wasn't quite clear if he was saying the air cylinder would also do 400 or just the winch hardware. I've posted a question on the link you quoted.
