What bolts fit in the AM14u Drivebase?

What bolts fit into the mounting holes on the AM14U Drivebase? Not the bolts for assembling the frame, but the holes for mounting. Specs or a part number would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not completely clear on what you're referencing. Are you talking about the bolts for mounting a transmission?

Re: What bolts fit in the AM14u Drivebase?

The majority of the holes are .200" and are designed I believe for a #10 fastener. They can also be drilled for out for something larger like 1/4-20.

Re: What bolts fit in the AM14u Drivebase?

Which holes? We're using AndyMark's 10-24s for the very top holes. for the bottom holes (the little lip towards the inside) I think we're using 1/4" bolts.

I know these work, not sure if they're the exact fit, I didn't really try hard to confirm this, because I was not going to go back to home depot for a fifth time. I'll probably be able to confirm tonight (but I'm sure someone will respond by then).

Re: What bolts fit in the AM14u Drivebase?

The holes across the top of the side plates and along the top of the cross brace extrusions are all .2" - thus a number 10 screw fits nicely (the CAD drawing I have for the cross brace measures .21, but that may be an error)

The holes around the bottom of the inner plate and the cross brace are .28" - thus fit a 1/4" screw perfectly.
