Axis camera mounting

We have been having a lot of trouble finding a space to mount the axis camera in our robot that isn't obscured by the ball. How are teams mounting their cameras and/or protecting it from ball strikes?

Re: Axis camera mounting

We placed ours bottom center to look for the hot goal. The ball won't get close to it and we weren't planning on using it at another time other than Auto. I don't know if this helps you but hopefully you will get some ideas.

(Camera Is the white thing centred under the red retrieval mechanism. Only picture I had.)

Re: Axis camera mounting

we mounted our camera on the front of our shooter by milling a slot in the shooter crossbeam and dropping the camera down into the slot. this protects it surprisingly well in our case.
