Pneumatic Wheel
We are looking for a good set of wheels for our "Broombot" this robot sweeps the floor at school basketball games, and shoots t-shirts. We have been scuffing the floor and we were looking at pneumatic tires on andymark. Has anyone had enough experience with these to say wether or not they would scuff a basketball court? Any advice is great! Thanks.

Re: Pneumatic Wheel
Andymark wheels should work well, another option is a wheelchair tire that will mount on standard utility wheels you can buy at harbor freight/menards/homedepot/etc. We get ours from a medical supplier called Airway Oxygen, but they are pricey. We were able to work out a partial donation though.
Something like this: http://www.1800wheelchair.com/produc...am-filled-tire You could also try the non-marring wheel that Harbor Freight carries. $8 http://m.harborfreight.com/8-inch-no...obile_redirect Last edited by MrBasse : 26-02-2014 at 20:09. |

Re: Pneumatic Wheel
AM pneumatic tires scuff quite a lot. Colson wheels are labeled non marking but I haven't tested the claim.
