How can an alliance score go backwards during game play?

Check out this video of quarter final match at IE...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y_HR...e_gdata_player

3:21 Red Alliance goes from 40 to 30 points when the truss shot is made
4:19 Red Alliance goes from 90 to 80 points for no reason

How can a score go backwards during a match?

Scorekeeper corrections. The correct auto score is 30 (3x move + 1 High not hot). The fact that this gets corrected right as a red robot shoots one of the auto balls over the truss (not worth truss points) is coincidence.

In the second instance you can see the score go from 80 to 90 when a ball is placed in the low goal. The ref must have entered it as a high goal. Around the time you indicated the score goes from 90 to 80 as the high goal is removed, then to 81 as the low goal is added.

Re: How can an alliance score go backwards during game play?

Thank you, I knew there must be a rational explanation.
