Team 3476, Code Orange, Highlights Video Posted

A highlights video of Team 3476’s 2014 robot, Hanalei, is available on YouTube at: http://youtu.be/NRo1hbfD7Lk .
We are in the Curie Division at the Championships.
Crush the Curie Curse!!!
Team 3476, Code Orange, received the 2014 San Diego Regional Chairman’s Award. Code Orange was the #2 Alliance Captain, Semifinalist and won the Imagery Award in honor of Jack Kamen. We were undefeated in the Qualification Matches along with team 987, High Rollers, with 11 wins. Code Orange scored the most accumulated Autonomous points with 515 and the most Truss & Catch points with 330.
In Las Vegas, Code Orange, was the first pick by the #3 Alliance Captain, Team 1717, d’Penguineers. Team 687, The Nerd Herd, rounded out the alliance. The alliance beat the #2 alliance in the Semi-finals (in an epic 6 match trial) to move on to become Finalists, losing by a narrow margin to the #1 Alliance of Teams 2485, 987 and 2478.
In Las Vegas, we were trying new Autonomous programming code to shot both the Hot Goals. But alas, we had to revert to the sucessful San Diego code in later matches when it was not working. Hence, our Autonomous scoring was way down in Las Vegas. We did end up with the highest OPR in Las Vegas though.

Amazing robot and great team. At both San Diego and Las Vegas 3476 had one of the best shots of any robots there. Expect to see them go far on Curie!
