C++ development for CRIO after Wind River?

Our team has a number of legacy CRIO bots that we use for training and demos. Early next year our Wind River licenses will expire. The new development environment will generate ARM code for the RoboRio. What are we going to do for CRIO programming then?

Eclipse and the GNU toolchain are all open source. What would it take to create a compile-link-download-debug solution for CRIO PowerPC code that would operate in the Eclipse environment?
