[OCCRA]: Controls Box Clarification

Team #302
Grant Johnson

Hello, my team is looking into buying a new plastic controls box. The OCCRA 2014 rules, as far as my knowledge, do not specifically state the required dimensions for the controls box. We wanted to buy a box to fit the space that we desired but then became concerned about the line "we do not want to switch to a larger control box..." in RB2.

Are we required to find a box of the exact dimensions as last year?

Thank you.

No, there is no specified size for the box. Make sure the box is plastic, components will fit nicely, and that refs can see the lights inside the box. The wire bundle leaving the box must be strain relieved and the 80A circuit-breaker must be mounted on the side where it can be readily accessed.
