[FTC]: LabView and the 2014-2015 Toolkit

Hello all,

My team and I are just learning LabView for use in FTC this year. I have a couple of dedicated 64-bit Windows 7 laptops with LV and, supposedly, the toolkit (LTMC) loaded. I also have LV and the LTMC loaded onto my personal laptop and on a team-member's laptop. I'm having a very hard time getting the toolkit to install properly. Here are my two questions. 1. What, specifically is supposed to be installed into LV with the toolkit? 2. How do I know if it is all there?

Unfortunately, a lot of different sites, even the NI site, looks like it is pointing to outdated material. Some tutorials say that there will be additional options under the challenge me section. Some say that when clicking on new program, the option for an FTC Arm and Gripper will appear. I have installed the toolkit on 4 computers now. One of them has the FTC gripper as an option, but it generates errors when creating the environment. It looks like I have it working on my own computer, but to get there, I had to uninstall and reinstall the entire LV system. The other two, no matter how many times I reinstall the toolkit, show no FTC options at all. Is that FTC option under new programs the only difference I should see? Is there any other way to validate that the toolkit and related libraries have installed? Seems like there should be a list or something...

Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Scott
