Shipped straight to Florida....
Posted by Anton Abaya at 03/07/2001 2:01 PM EST
Coach on team #419, Rambots, from UMass Boston / BC High and WHO NEEDS SPONSORS WHEN YOU HAVE DETERMINATION!. isnt it so nice to have a robot working flawless ly (knock on wood) and not have to fix anything? seriously, this machineshop less Rambot has not and shall not has not (and probably never will) break ever. it's all about consistency and simplicity... good luck to all the robots that made last minute facelifts on their bots and i hope we can inspire you all to make simple robots that WORK! why complicate things when you're under budget, under crewed, and most of all exhausted? just make something that WORKS, everytime. Be proud and win. See you all in florida. -anton ps. you can never out ram a rambot. |

Student on team #69, HYPER, from Quincy Public Schools and Gillette. In Reply to: Shipped straight to Florida.... Posted by Anton Abaya on 03/07/2001 2:01 PM EST: Seeing that our robot needed NO WORK on it during the whole competition, with the ramp SLAMMING on us everytime a robot DROVE over us, I think Team 69 is doing fairly well. |
