Looking for 2015 radio information
Is there a definitive announcement regarding the radio to be used with the 2015 control system? I'm completing the order for our second control system and can't run down whether the DLink continues as the radio, or there's a new USB-attached radio. The preliminary diagram shows a USB attached radio, but it appears that all of the beta testing was with the DLink.

Re: Looking for 2015 radio information
My understanding is the USB radios didn't work as well as FIRST didn't want them to and were replaced with the D-Links for beta testing and moving forward.

Re: Looking for 2015 radio information
Pretty much any AP or bridge, USB or ethernet would work for shop or demonstration use case.
When it comes to running at an event, FIRST will require a specific model of a specific radio, programmed a specific way. I do not believe they have officially announced the radio choice, but alpha teams use a USB radio dongle, whereas beta teams used a revB DLink, same as last year. Use that information as you wish. Doesn't sound like there's anything to buy as of now. Thanks for the posts.

Re: Looking for 2015 radio information
On the Beta Test site it is confirmed that the dlink used in previous years will continue to be used. The original plan during alpha testing was to use usb routers, but the tech produced too many problems and the idea was scrapped. The usb connections are, as of now, mainly for the use of a Microsoft HD-3000 usb camera (included in KOP) which is replacing the axis camera from previous years. The ports can be used for other options, but must be configured as such.
