Running Robot Builder directly from Eclipse C++

We can not run WPILib commands directly from Eclipse C++ using the WPLIB menu. Nothing happens when we select Robot Builder.

We can run Robot Builder directly, them import the results into Eclipse, then build and deploy.

We can live with it, but it only happens on one computer. Our other computer works as expected.

I read Chief Delphi posts a lot, but this is my first post. It is so exciting...

Re: Running Robot Builder directly from Eclipse C++

We've been having lots of issues setting up Eclipse. It works on some computers but not others.

Sorry I can't be of more help other than to let you know that you are not alone.

Re: Running Robot Builder directly from Eclipse C++

Yes, the WPILib menu in Eclipse seems to be broken on most, but not all, of the computers we've set up.

The whole process of setting up Eclipse and installing the FRC tools seems overly complex and error-prone. Particularly the part about the FRC toolchain source (FRC Windows Toolchain 4.9.1-0build1.msi) needing to be run from the same drive that Eclipse is installed on.
