Inventor - Drive Base change dimension

Wanting to change the size of the drive base, want a little longer than square. I've been trying to figure out how to do this for quite a while today. Running 2015 with the KOP downloaded. I have tried both adjusting the Square assembly, as well as just trying to reassemble and changing the size of the sides. I can't seem to get it figured out. Anyone help me a little on this? Thanks.

Re: Inventor - Drive Base change dimension

Let me know the exact name of the part and what you require. I will put together some instructions.

The part is probably a base solid and requires the use of the Direct edit tool. Here is the Help link.

Check back with me if this does not work for you.

Re: Inventor - Drive Base change dimension

I think all I need is these two parts lengthened by 2 inches.

Everything else would be fine. I'll look at the link you sent. Thanks.

Re: Inventor - Drive Base change dimension

Attached is one of the files. I extended it 1 inch in each direction, assuming you wanted to retain symmetry.

Review the browser to see the edits.

Note I had to extrude the semi-circles at the cut edge to make the Direct edit tool work.
