Driving practice

Hey all,
What would you recommend for driver practice this year? It's very different and may be hard to practice working with other alliances. Any maneuvers?
Thanks

Re: Driving practice

A driver this year must be slow controlled smooth precise, precise, precise. A wild driver from last year will cause much pain.

Picking up totes with obstructed vision. Lining up. Soft, gradual speed increase. The ability to change direction without jerky movements. Our team is considering joysticks this year for precise and more gradual movements.

Re: Driving practice

Drivers need soft hands this year... or a good ramping function in code!

Unless your game strategy is the shuttle between the chute and the nearest scoring platform, practice driving with obstructed view.

That is amazingly applicable. I might shoot that by our team and see if our driver wants to try.
