2015 RoboRio Imaging Error

We've tried imaging our RoboRio on two different computers and on our classmate, via both USB and ethernet, and get the same error every time. We have the latest 2015 NI update installed.

This is a screenshot of the error we get:

Have any other people had this issue and found a solution?

Update: We tried imaging again, with the same error, and now we get a constant blink of both the power and status lights (unrecoverable error!?). Previously after the error, the power light would be solid and the status light would have a pattern of 2 blinks (software error).

Re: 2015 RoboRio Imaging Error

Try turning off windows firewall

Try disabling all other network adapters.

Its recommended to only image using USB.

You may have to put the RoboRio in safe mode to try again.

Re: 2015 RoboRio Imaging Error

Did you extract the NI Update files into a folder before running the update? If you try to run it from within the .zip file, things usually don't work properly.

Re: 2015 RoboRio Imaging Error

Thanks for the suggestions. Yes, the update files were extracted and we tried safe mode. We eventually got it to work by following directions from this thread: https://decibel.ni.com/content/message/91743#91743
We imaged it with our Classmate over ethernet, and setting a manual ip (169.254.11.11) for the classmate.
