I don't remember which team but in the brochure
that they sent me they showed a picture of a FIRST
robot playing (I think it was the 98 comp). If I had to
guess I would think that it'd probably be team 233
or 386. I believe that they're both north of FIT but I
think it's about the same general vicinity. Pardons
in advance to 233, 386, and any team I've forgotten
if I happen to be horribly wrong.

I'm still thinking about going to FIT, maybe next
year after I get this stupid foreign language credit
that's holding me up. Math/Science - good. Strange
words - BAD! The 4:1 male-female ratio really turns
me off though (no pun intended). I can't believe that
I have to spend a year in community college just
because I have an incredible inability to learn
strange languages. If C++ counted as a foreign
language I'd be set. 1370 on my SAT yet I can't
manage to B.S. my way through 2 years of
language.

1370 on my SAT yet I can't
: manage to B.S. my way through 2 years of
: language.

My SAT's were lower, 1000, but I managed to B.S. my way through German, all the way to AP. All you have to do is be able to speak quickly and unclear and claim to have an accent and your all good. My math grades are horrible but I manage to get through, it all depends on the teacher that I have. Thanks for the info on a team near FIT, I'm considering going there next year but haven't made any final plans.

OK..I have a question. I live in FL and have no clue where FIT is. I know it used to have a branch somewhere in Martin County, but where is it now? And, yes, languages stink. I took three years of Spanish. Glad that's done and overwith.
