Solenoid Not Working

We are a rookie team from Japan and we decided to use pneumatics for our arm. Now we have some trouble with controlling the solenoid.

First, we connected everything on PCM as the Screensteps is showing. We have connected PCM with CAN, and we can control our compressor.
Also, when we program some code with solenoids then we can see the red light going on and off on the PCM solenoid ports. There're orange lights going on/off on the solenoid too, so we know that the solenoid is receiving the code.

But when we run it, the air keeps coming out through one of the holes (#2) and doesn't through another hole (#4) on the solenoid. What's going on?

Re: Solenoid Not Working

Are you supplying proper voltage to the solenoid?

Our team had similar symptoms; Solenoid lights, no action.

The Festo solenoids/valves we got from FIRSTchoice need 24V. The PCM jumper is set to a default of 12 V. We moved the jumper to 24 V, solenoid worked.

PCM jumper is on top center of PCM.

Re: Solenoid Not Working

Thanks, it worked perfectly with 24V!
