FIRST logo on totes

Is the FIRST logo on the grey totes black or white. The grey tote that came with the KOP has a white logo, but we also bought 6 more "game pieces" from Andymark and those grey totes have a black logo. We need to know for vision code.

White logo

Re: FIRST logo on totes

The grey totes on the official Kickoff field in Manchester, NH had white logos.

Re: FIRST logo on totes

The Q&A would give you a definite answer, because looking through the game manual, there isn't a clear answer I could find. That is a little peculiar, though, that the game pieces would differ like that from the KOP to AndyMark.

Re: FIRST logo on totes

On page 12 of the game manual (here) it says that the game element totes are the same as the kit of parts totes. Also, the totes at the Georgia kickoff had white logos. With that said, I would assume that the totes used in competition have whote logos. I can't find a definite answer, so you may want to ask this on the official first forum. Hope this helps!

Re: FIRST logo on totes

It is of course good to do your research and ask for clarification, but if it turns out that both black and white will be used on the gray tote, you may want to think about a transform that will fix this. Or consider processing that will accept both.

What I'm getting at is that the logo(s) and the totes are all gray scale. A high contrast jump is what is really needed for pattern based processing, and both provide that. So you could consider taking on the challenge to process both.
