FLL Offseason?
We were working on chairmans submission tonight and we were talking about how we held an offseason FLL tournament for teams in May, and we were wondering how many teams hold offseason FLL tournament? Or are we the only team that does this?

Re: FLL Offseason?
We didn't host our own tournament, but we do supply most or all of the referees and resetters, and a few judges for an FLL-style off-season competition at the World War II museum in New Orleans each spring.

Re: FLL Offseason?
1923 hosts an FLL Scrimmage in early November, where local FLL teams are invited to come practice on real tables/practice with mock judging. We don't call it an off-season, though. (It's also practice for our student volunteers since we host an official NJ FLL Qualifying Tournament a few weeks later.)

Re: FLL Offseason?
2723 is holding our 1st offseason FLL tournament and training session this year in May. We have a dozen teams registered and are holding a couple of spaces for pre-rookie teams, but it's basically full. We're looking forward to it. We'll have FTC demo matches and our FRC 'bot on display as well. We like the timing, because it is right before FLL registration opens and we are recruiting a bunch of new schools to come and see what it is about.
