Go to Post I urge them to build the kitbot and repeateadly smash it into a concrete wall in order to sate their anger. It will soon wane when they manage to do more damage to the wall than to the kitbot. That is honestly the reason that we ended up using the kitframe this year. - Andrew Blair [more]

Today’s blog post is from a special guest, Jason Baker, from the FedEx Innovation Challenge Team.

Every FIRST team has done it. You’ve sat up late at night with your crew, dreaming up THE coolest, most epic game idea ever! If only you had a way to share this idea with the Game Design Committee at FIRST Headquarters. If only, if only…

Well, now you have your chance!

By entering the FedEx Innovation Challenge this month, your team could win a trip for four team reps and two chaperones to travel to FIRST HQ in Manchester, New Hampshire. While there, you’ll have the chance of a lifetime. YOU will be able to present your future game design idea to members of the FIRST Game Design Committee and staff. One of our FedEx Vice Presidents of Information Technology will consult with your team in person to help you prepare your presentation.

This unique opportunity is only available to the winning team of the February phase of the FedEx Innovation Challenge. The Innovation Challenge is a way to show off your team spirit and creativity in a social media based contest. All entries are submitted via Instagram and Twitter. #Hashtags, baby!

FedEx has been a proud supporter of FIRST for 14 years, providing free shipping of FIRST Robotics Competition Kits of Parts and robots, and cash support for the Rookie Grant Program.

Get in the game NOW by checking out the rules and answering the challenges at: http://blog.fedex.com/innovationchallenge.

*While you’re on the site, check out the January winning entries from Team Driven 1730. Their great work earned them a tech prize package including a roboRIO controller donated by National Instruments, a DJI Phantom quadcopter, and an iPad!

Re: [FRC Blog] Enter the FedEx Innovation Challenge in February for a chance to prese

Could we submit a potential design intended to automate the organization and transfer of storage crates at the FedEx warehouses? If so, then I think we've got just the thing...
