Maximum Input Frequency
I am looking to get a new quadrature encoder to work for our shafts which spin around 5k rpm or so. I need to know the ppr to order. In order to do that I need to know the maximum input frequency of the robo rio.
Thanks in advance, Bryant |

Re: Maximum Input Frequency
Checkout the electrical specs in Talon SRX User's Guide. Based on your RPM, you should be able to calc the max CPR (not PPR).
I think you'll find though that there is no practical limitation on what encoder you can choose. |

Re: Maximum Input Frequency
Quote:
Max RPM is 80million/CPR (CPR=Cycles Per Rev). |
