Team 535 abilities and statisics

Posted by Eric Tarnowski at 03/28/2001 3:15 PM EST

Student on team #535, G-Force, from Huntington North High School and United Technologies Electronic Controls.

I'm sorry, but here's some shameless salesmanship (you can't blame me for wanting to be picked at Nats!):

Abilities:
Pick up and manipulate big balls
Manipulate one or two goals
Manipulate stretcher (easily even with robot on)
Pick up and score two or three small balls quickly
Balance one or two goals
Place big ball on balanced goal from floor reliably and quickly
Manipulate ramp

Statistics and times (assuming no or minimal interference from other robots):
00:16 go over ramp and place big ball on goal
00:37 go over ramp place big ball on balanced goal and return to endzone
00:52 go over ramp, pick up and score two to three small balls, pick up and score a big ball on
balanced goal and return to endzone (we are still practicing this with our second robot).

Awards:
Rookie All-Star Award at West Michigan and Motorola Midwest Regionals
Finalist with teams 111, 74, and 66 in West Michigan Regional
Third Place with 45 and others in Motorola Midwest Regional
