robot photo format

TIMS says you can submit your robot photo in 4x5 or 5x4 format, but a couple times in the past when I've submitted a tall robot in portrait orientation it appeared to show up on the page in TIMS reformatted to landscape, basically stretching the horizontal and/or compressing the vertical so that the image was distorted and the robot looked terrible. Also, when I re-cropped it to landscape to try to fix it and submitted it again it still showed up the same as if it didn't replace the photo.

Has anyone noticed this before or this year? Does anyone know if the portrait images on the judges page show up OK, maybe it's just the way it looks on the webpage in TIMS? I'm pretty sure this year there will be a lot of tall robots in portrait view.
