RTOS for post 2015 cRio

There are going to be a lot of used cRios for sale in a few months. Is it possible to run linux on them or another RTOS that does not have to be licensed? I am assuming that the NI tool chain will turn into a pumpkin. I could not find a thread on this topic.

Re: RTOS for post 2015 cRio

Still useful
- FRC 2014 LabVIEW has an unlimited license for both 4-slot & 8-slot cRIOs
- FRC 2015 LabVIEW will run 2015 code on a 4-slot cRIO
- Java NetBeans (from FRC 2014) has no license expiration and will continue to work
- C++ on cRIO: http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/sh....php?p=1438037

The 2014 LabVIEW license is not supposed to expire. Java has never expired. An alternate C++ toolchain is being worked on.
