Joystick Buttons

At our regional, we had a main driver and an assistant driver. The main driver had no buttons and all of the mechanism controls were on the assistant controller. We are now talking of putting a new mechanism on for our next regional and would like to put the controls on the main driver controls. We use LabView and the Logitech Attack 3 controllers. Any help is appreciated!

Re: Joystick Buttons

What kind of help are you looking for?

The only thing I think you need to watch out for is the numbering of the buttons. The trigger on the Attack 3 is button1, and the rest are clearly labeled as 2-11. However, the LabVIEW array with the button values starts with index 0 as the trigger, and the others are 1-10.

Map the controls to driver joystick buttons, rather than operater joystick. Do the same thing you did for assistant driver, but on the main driver joystick.
