[FTC]: Motor Controllers Acting Weird

Hey Chief Delphi,

Yesterday, we came across a problem with our DC controllers. Two of our motors, which were connected to the same controller, suddenly stopped working, and so did the other controllers that were daisy-chained to that controller. All of the connections from the motors to the controllers were working fine.

We were able to fix the problem when we switched the ports of the NXT cables at the top of the controller. We don't know why this worked at all, though.

What could be causing this to happen? Is there any way to prevent this at all? All help is appreciated.
