Coach on team #25, Raider Robotix, from North Brunswick Twp. H.S. and Bristol-Myers Squibb.

Well we're baack.... $@#$@#$@#$@#!

I just wanted to drop a line to congratulate the Newton Alliance (see told ya!) winners on their tremendous accomplishments in this year's big game. I watched the team post repeated 710s on the path to the top. The obviously deserve the highest honors this year. The Beatty Hammond robot certainly had the game down and made it look easy. It was especially nice to see the Miracle Workers, a team of great folks from the NJ regional, get the trophy.
I also want to thank our alliance partners in the semis- particularly Aces High- for allowing us a second chance to play. After a number of disastrous matches ranging from young drivers getting nervous to other robots simply dying on the field, Raider Robotix was seated so low that we had to look up just to see the standings board! Aces High picked us despite our abysmal ranking and gave us a second shot of hope. We will never forget that.
I obviously could ramble on for quite a while- so I won't but let me leave you all with this thought-
It took over 600 teams working at top form for months to solve the problem of this "simple game" Imagine what those minds could do with one of the world's REAL problems.....
and just imagine what those diabolical gamesters are going to come up with for next year.....

I think we'll just hop the wall and go home now...
WC
