College / Career Advice
Posted by Eric Gargus at 04/09/2001 6:22 PM EST
Student on team #217, Royal Fusion, from Armada High Schools and Ford Motor Company. Greetings! As a graduating High School Senior I've got a fairly big life decision ahead of me in picking a college (I believe I have it narrowed down to Purdue or Virginia Tech), but that aside I also have the -bigger- choice of what to do with the rest of my life. And to be honest at this point, its pretty much all up in the air for me. Besides FIRST, I'm involved in so many other things, that the list of things that interest me or I enjoy doing is so large its no help trying to narrow things down. So, in the spirit the 'Career' forum I'm asking everyone out there for some input. What fields in everyone in, and where do you think that field is going? Also, what helped influence you to pick the major/field you did? Like I said, I'm really still open to just about anything right now, and would like ANY advice that those who have been through this can give me, as all I know right now is I plan to be involved with FIRST as long as I'm still breathing, no matter WHAT I decide to do. Thanks a TON guys! Eric Gargus Team Macomb #217 egargus@sprynet.com |
