From what I have read on this site in different posts make me wonder something.

How many great teams will we lose to another type of competition because of the way this season was?

I remember a great team Plymoth High School. You know those great folks that brought us Rumble at the Rock. They left to pursue (correct me if I am wrong) electric car racing.

This season I have read the complaints of many people on how this season went and some have said that they have thought "Will I be back next year" this may be something one person is thinking, but who knows, maybe there are teams out there that are saying it.

I have also read people saying bring back the violence and with Battle Bots trying to do a high school level event and with robotica (which I think any team in FIRST could win) how many teams will pursue these options?

Also I haven't seen the final ranking for the Nats but from what a gathered from the seeding there were A LOT of huge teams out there that got a taste of reality or there ego's put in check by the folks at FIRST when they didn't do as good as they have in the past (you know those teams that placed in the top 10 for the last 5+ years, were quarte finalists at regional this year and then seeded in the bottome 10 of there division because of who they teamed with).

So for me to stop rambleing I'll leave you with this.

What ever you teams decide to do with yourselves just remember that FIRST will save that team number of yours for when you return.
