If you wanted to use pneumatics on the drive train, you could use a butterfly type drive, with the back traction wheel up inside as the axle/pivot point and just use 4 mini pistons to keep the tote elevated and be able to pop the wheels up inside. http://www.teamneutrino.org/seasons/...bot/butterfly/

It seems like you guys all have way too much time on your hands...lol
they look great! last time i saw a tote go almost that fast it was because a team mate built a stack and knocked it over. ![]() |

The simplest design I can think of is reinforcing the drive with some 1 inch x 2 inch tubing on the inside of the tote and attaching the gearboxes to the tubing. Then you could just make a few cutouts in the tote for the drive axles for the wheels.
