Top 100 Club

While high scores and averages are kept track of very well this year, I thought I would bring to light a less noticed and interesting bit of data, which is lowest score.

I have compiled a list of every team that scored at least 100 in every qualifying match at a certain event, including that team's LOWEST score from qualifying rounds. Only 32 teams have accomplished this feat to date, and only two teams have done it twice (1023 and 548, both at the MIBED and MICMP events).

This information is great at showing teams who are not only able to score a lot of points, but teams that score high EVERY SINGLE MATCH, without serious robot or driver errors. While luck certainly plays a factor, as well as the depth of the event, this is nonetheless a huge accomplishment for any team.

I'm sure the number of teams will rise after Champs. Good luck to everyone heading down to St. Louis next week!

You can read about the 100 Club teams here.

Re: Top 100 Club

This really shows how the level of play is different in regionals, districts, and district championships.

29 out of the 34 occurrences were by teams at District Championships.

2 were from district events by teams that repeated in district champs. The only 3 teams outside of districts on this list are 254, 1114, and 2056.

From my experience at NECMP this past weekend, the level of play was a HUGE difference compared to the district and regional events I attended. The lowest qualification average at New England Champs was 105 with the highest being 200. Teams really made a lot of improvements for the district championships and I hope to see the raised level of play again at the World Championship in a few weeks.

There's a chart here which compares MICMP, NECMP, and MRCMP Alliance Scores:
