Question Event Seating Ideas

Wasn't sure whether this should be in the offseason or rules/strategy forum, so I'm posting it here instead.

I've just started work on planning an offseason event in CT, and have been thinking about stands seating. Saving seats is disallowed in the rules, but we all know that it happens anyway. I was thinking about asking all of the teams coming how many people they were planning on bringing, and allocating seating areas for all of the teams and another section for unaffiliated community members, guests, and overflow. How do you all feel about allocated seating for teams? Will people be angry if they think their seats are bad? Thanks everyone!

Re: Event Seating Ideas

I feel like it could work but you'd have to factor in parents that are coming, people who aren't affiliated with any team, and other people who wouldnt get reported in the number a team tells you. It'd be best to sort the teams in the stands numerically so if a team has bad seats it's no ones fault. Maybe even randomly so that the really low numbers or really high numbers (depending on how you sort it) don't feel screwed seating wise because of something they can't control.
